About this calculator
How is the heating-cost saving estimated?
The calculator multiplies your current annual heating cost by the heat-loss reduction percentage (default 70%, the figure AWTT cites for Armor Ball®; up to ~75% for AQUA). It is a planning estimate, not a guarantee.
How much insulation does the cover add?
A single Armor Ball® layer provides R-2 insulation per AWTT published data. For higher insulation needs, AWTT offers covers up to R-17+ such as Hexprotect® MAX R.
Can I see the payback period?
